bdogstudio:

Some of the AWESOME new walkers coming out for Dust Warfare, the greatest Weird World War II game ever. The two-legged ones are for the Soviets, and the four-legged ones are for the Axis. I will be getting these when they come out.

Did I mention that the Axis ones, which are bigger than a WH40k Chimera, are only $40 USD, and the Soviet ones are $30 USD, pre-assembled and primed? Plus, if you know where to look you can easily find them for 40% off.

Oh my, please tell me the Russian ones are on 60mm bases.  Please tell me I can use that bottom right one as a Psyfleman Dread.

Grey Knights know how to work the robe, it seems.

So, Grey Knights.

I need another Incinerator.

Much left to do, as everything still needs a dry brushing of Shining Gold, as well as red energy detailing.

Having gotten tired of how much of a pain in the butt it is to get your hands on ACTUAL Scarab swarms, I decided to manufacture my own.  These little buggers were made out of carpentry button ends (the kind used to cover up screw holes in banisters and such) that I carved and detailed using a Dremel tool.  I think it was something like $3.50 +tx to buy a blister of 18 such buttons down at Canadian Tire, making each base of two Scarabs marginally more expensive than my Jokaero, if you can believe it.

I might paint up the eyes red later, but I plan on leaving them gold for the moment.

One of my custom Crypteks in my army, I used a warrior as the base, bit of Liquid Green Stuff formed the Cyclops eye, his Eldritch Lance is a lance from a Shinning Spear, I believe, and his off-hand item is an Eldar tank gun of some sort.  And yes, his arm is directly merged into the off-hand item.  Had to splice it a bit to be sure the glue would take right.

Necron Lord/Overlord with Warscythe and Phase Shifter is now complete with one Khorne Berzerker head and two Eldar heads at his “feet”.

I think he turned out pretty decently, and I am especially enjoying the blade on his Warscythe.
